Species of these natural spiral screw shells are found worldwide in sand and sandy mud at a variety of depths.

Natural seashells that are great for offering Hermit Crabs new homes. These ones are sized approximately 4 - 5cm with an opening of about 0.5 - 1cm. More suitable for small hermit crabs such as the algae eating hermit crab or Orange/Red leg hermit crabs.

They can also be used for aquarium decor on the bed, adding colour and texture to the reef as well as providing sanctuary for life such as copepods and amphipods.

Hermit crabs regularly change their shells as they grow, and some will prefer a certain type of shell over others, therefore it's a good idea to have a selection of shells available of varying shapes and sizes.
